They don’t come standard this way but we can make them EnergyStar efficient.
When working with Value Build Homes, we can refer you to our preferred lenders. They can work with all types of loans including USDA, VA, and FHA. When building you are required to have a construction loan. The construction loan covers construction costs and land improvements. Being approved for a construction loan is different than being approved for a purchase loan. A construction loan lasts only while the home is being built. The purchase loan becomes your permanent loan (for example a 30 year mortgage). You can use your purchase loan to pay off your construction loan when the home is completed.
While we do not quote or build plans that aren't Value Build designs, we're more than happy to review your custom home plan and explore how we can personalize one of our existing Value Build Homes plans to suit your needs. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, our team can help personalize an existing plan to meet your specific requirements. We're always working on new designs, so if you have something in mind, our new home consultants can assist you in finding a similar plan in development or help tailor an existing one just for you!

We started a land acquisition program to assist you with finding land. Once we know where you are looking to build, we will connect you with one of our Realtor partners. These are local experts that will be able to find you the perfect lot. Of course, you will have the VBH Land Acquisition team that will back up this partnership.

Great question! We get this one a lot. Our floor plans are specially designed to provide efficiency and space. We have a specific process to help maximize materials and manpower to keep overhead low. By doing so, this reduces mistakes and delays that can run costs up. We call this method Value Engineering. This is so important to how we do business- that we’ve incorporated that in our name – Value Build Homes.
We would be happy to do a free cost estimate of our lot and let you know what needs to be done. This is a service we can provide, although it is not included in our base pricing. We can add any land improvement costs to your loan though.
Many of our plans include a two-car garage, though some do not. Regardless, we can add an attached or detached garage of any size to all of our designs. Our New Home Consultants are here to help you create a garage that perfectly complements the plan you choose.
